The Top Trends for Summer Pedicures


It’s summer which means we’ll be seeing a lot more open-toed shoes and pedicures.  

Before picking a polish, consider this year’s hottest trends.  While sitting in the massage chair, think about the sandals and flip flops you’ll wear throughout the season.  Take into account the different social events you’ll attend as well.  Then pick the polish that’s right for you.  You may want to try one or two of the following hot colors for summer.

Paint the town red with a sophisticated polish.  Take your summer look from day to night by requesting this color the next time you get a pedi.  Better yet, buy you own bottle for $9 and keep it on hand at home for touch ups between visits.

Dolce & Gabbana Maya Blue
Go for something extreme and have your toes painted light blue to match your bathing suit.  This rich color is perfect for the non-traditionalist who wants something other than pink or red on her feet this summer.  Go ahead, show them your adventurous side because you only live once, right?


Now that you have an idea of what type of summer polish you’ll be wearing, the next thing to consider is how you’ll wear your fingernails.  Will your manicure match your pedicure exactly?  Or, will it be a complimentary color inspired by the color combination of the bathing suit you’ve chosen?  Either way, it’s sure to look great!
